A cursed tower dominates the horizon, shrouded in mind-bending spells that seal in an ancient evil: Frappe-Sans-Trace, a black dragon and apostle of Perjury, condemned to oblivion by Vouivre herself. But the chains of his imprisonment are weakening. In the shadows, a fallen scholar and his fanatical sect are working to release this scourge and unleash a new era of destruction.

Called in to investigate the mysterious disappearance of corpses in the holy city, the members of the Perce-Nuit company gradually uncover the threads of a sinister conspiracy. But the mists only reveal their secrets at the price of terrible sacrifices.

Une tour maudite domine l’horizon, enveloppée de sortilèges qui égarent l’esprit et scellent un mal ancestral : Frappe-Sans-Trace, un dragon noir et apôtre du Parjure, condamné à l’oubli par la Vouivre elle-même. Mais les chaînes de son emprisonnement s’affaiblissent. Dans l’ombre, un érudit déchu et sa secte fanatique œuvrent à libérer ce fléau pour déclencher une nouvelle ère de destruction.

Appelés à enquêter sur la mystérieuse disparition de cadavres dans la cité sainte, les membres de la compagnie Perce-Nuit découvrent peu à peu les fils d’une conspiration sinistre. Mais les brumes ne révèlent leurs secrets qu’au prix de terribles sacrifices.
